The ET technology

The Process

The Envotherm evaporation process is called Mechanical Vapor Recompression or MVR and is as such not new technology. In combination with our patented absorber we have a new  superior technology.

This innovative treatment system removes virtually all of the contaminants, such as;

• TSS - Total Suspended Solids 
• TDS - Total Disolved Solids 
• TKN - Total Kjeldal Nitrogen 
• NH3-N - Amonia Nitrogen  
• Fatty acids
• BOD5 - Biological Oxygen Demand in 5 days 
• COD - Chemical Oxygen demand 
• Heavy metals and mineral compounds, Cr, Ni, Mn, Pb, Cd, Hg, Zn, CU, etc. 

The Distillate normally returns to a neutral pH.

ET - MVR evaporator

The Patented ET - MVR evaporator re-use the energy from the steam they create, thus eliminating the need for an outside source of heat and cooling.

  

The ET - Blower

Our ET - Blower is used to boost the pressure of steam from the evaporator so that it will condense at a higher temperature. 
This boost enables the latent heat in the steam to be returned to the evaporator, thus generating more steam. In other words, the same heat is continuously reused.

  

 

 

With power being the only utility, the major operating expense of a ET - MVR evaporator unit is the mechanical energy required to 
operate the ET - Blower.
